Major Donor Withdrawals
U.S. funding previously covered up to 90% of humanitarian aid in Thailand. When this funding was frozen or withdrawn, programs for food vouchers, health clinics, and cash assistance collapsed.
No Right to Work
Refugees in Thailand are legally prohibited from working. Without employment rights and with aid disappearing, families have no means to provide for themselves or their children.
